ARF CC Meets with Armenia Ambassador

WASHINGTON (A.W.)—On April 22, a delegation of the ARF Eastern Region Central Committee (CC), headed by chairman Hayg Oshagan, met with the Ambassador of Armenia to the U.S. Tatoul Markarian.

The delegation, which also included CC member Onnig Bedrosian and ARF Washington Gomideh representative Hovsep Avakian, discussed with the ambassador the post-election situation in Armenia.

Oshagan underlined that the consolidation of Armenia’s national security is a priority for the ARF. In turn, Markarian highlighted the importance of a unified stance against the challenges facing Armenia at this juncture.

Oshagan then provided an overview of the genocide commemoration and independence anniversary events that were held in April and May.

The CC members also expressed their condolences to Markarian and his family on the passing of his mother.
